Whats happening around Waranga View

Well lots have been happening at Waranga View, firstly we finally got some much needed rain but of course we still need more. The winter wattles and orchids are flowering. The Riceflowers and spring flowers will be out soon adding a palette of colour to the forest. The native birds are already hunting for nesting materials, or so my old scarecrow is telling me. We have not done much on the b & b of late but hope to get onto it over the next month or so. I have been working on the b & b website, you can view it at www.webdotwiz.com/warangaview/index5.htm please remember that it is still under construction and it might take a while before it is finished. Yeah I know, we still have to finish off the unit too. Please let me know if you have any suggestions for the website though. Anyway I have lots to do, so until next time I blog, be safe and enjoy the simple pleasures of life.

First property pictures

Well hello everyone, finally I have added the first photos of the property. The property name is Karkawarri which is an aboriginal word which means "evening breeze". This is very appropriate as our property generally gets a lovely cool breeze most nights in the summertime. The basin is at its lowest at this time of the year, but will start filling up soon, of course we are all hoping for some rain, which will help it on its way. I hope you enjoy the photos, we love our property and get lots of simple pleasure from the beauty all around us.
